Advent begins on November 27th – this is a special four weeks in which we can look forward with great expectation to Jesus’ birth, and proclaim the good news of his love to all. This year, let’s invite our kids to be a part.
But wait – am I really asking you to DO MORE this time of year? Yes and no.
Yes, this provides a way for your family to come together in spreading HOPE.
But no, you won’t need to purchase craft supplies, sew dozens of ornaments, or collect endless goodies and treats.
Simply download either design of the Acts of Kindness Advent Calendar, print, and choose your activities (this is a great thing to do together, with your child, and a cup of coffee).
We used these calendars last week in our children’s ministry – here’s a photo of my friend Lauren’s classroom. These are some fantastic, doable, age-appropriate ideas – she’s kind of good at everything. In life, I often find myself thinking WWLD? Feel free to do the same, and then steal her ideas.
Peace, hope, and love to you this Advent season. And, don't forget to get your copy of my free, printable devotional, A Simple Advent Book.
